"Pygmy Guru" is an industrial/breakcore musician currently based in Matawan, New Jersey.
Pygmy Guru mixes genres of bit-pop, industrial, breakcore, jungle-funk, acid-punk and acidcore, hardcore techno, cybergrind, grindcore, and various other genres to create a unique sound that truly comes to life during his performances.
He is infamous for his obnoxious performances and bizarre on-stage persona.
The Pygmy Guru is also frequently seen at all varieties of shows and concerts, dancing and making noise. He has been known to carry a child's keyboard through the crowd, blaring nursery-rhyme melodies and dancing to the noises coming from the keyboard rather than the band currently playing. He has also been known for other antics including (but not limited to) dancing violently during slow music, licking a vocalist's spilled bottle of water off the floor, beating his hands on the floor violently and screaming even when no music is to be heard, and dancing with members of the crowd only to chase them away and break into a fit of horrific screams and shrieks. |
